This is the first duty tenure of our house- FREEDOM HOUSE.
During our tenure everyday morning assembly was conducted. Students used to speak Thought of the day, News and on special events like Guru Purnima, Global Tiger Day, Shlokas.
These morning assemblies were enriching as well as thought provoking.
Daily & Weekly Responsibilities:
- Cleanliness: Maintaining cleanliness around the school premises.
- Discipline: Ensuring proper behavior of students in canteen and corridors.
- Meetings: Conducting regular meetings for planning, interaction, and reporting.
- Reporting: Monitoring student behavior, including tracking attendance, uniforms, and reporting concerns to authorities.

INVESTITURE CEREMONY
DATE: 18 MAY 2026
The Investiture Ceremony for the Senior Wing was conducted on 18th May 2026 where the newly elected student leaders were officially entrusted with their responsibilities.
The house system plays an important role in developing a healthy spirit of teamwork and participation among students. Each house has its own team of student leaders who act as role models for their fellow students. They are expected to demonstrate punctuality, discipline, cooperation, confidence and a positive attitude.

TAGLINE- PROSPERITY
Prosperity involves more than just luck. It encompasses flourishing, success and well- being, often including financial wealth, but heavily relies on hard work, good decisions, health and positive relationships.
The different ways to be prosper include- economy, governance, social capital, personal freedom, safety and security, health and education.

Freedom house observed its first tenure from 18 July to 6 August, 2025. During our tenure, our house prefects, vice- prefects and other members were active and on their toes for the smooth conduction of their duties.
Morning assemblies were conducted daily which included thought of the day, news and some special presentation like poem or special day celebration.
On 6 August, special presentation was there on Hiroshima- Nagasaki day. This day demonstrates the devastating power of nuclear weapons. In order to spread its harmful effects and peace among all the people on Earth, this day is celebrated.
SPECTRUM (2025-26)

DLDAV MODEL SCHOOL PITAM PURA celebrated its annual event SPECTRUM 2025 , a kaleidoscope of Expressions for class XI on 9th July, 2025. It was truly an amalgamation of creativity, innovation and an exhibition of teamwork. The event also created a platform that provided the students with a lot of opportunities to showcase their skills and talents in different avenues.
The atmosphere crackled with excitement as students cheered passionately for their houses, fostering a deep sense of unity and school spirit.
Overall, the inter-house competition was a resounding success, leaving a lasting impact and providing invaluable experiences for all involved.
The students were applauded by our esteemed Principal ma'am for their enthusiastic participation and exploring the limitless world of art and culture.

Being a part of school council is one of the ways by which students can gain confidence in achieving success. Senior wing of our school formed the Prefectorial board of our house along with the Student Council of class XII. All the members pledged to work earnestly and uphold the honour and glory of the institution while receiving their prestigious flag.
Principal ma'am congratulated and motivated the students to keep moving forward despite all the challenges and obstacles that life throws.
House prefects are student leaders of the school's house system, playing a vital role in promoting discipline, fostering a positive school environment, and supporting house activities. They often assist teachers with various tasks, represent the student body, and serve as role models for younger students.

DLDAV MODEL SCHOOL PITAMPURA celebrated its annual event SPECTRUM 2024, a Kaleidoscope of Expressions for class XI on 26th December , 2024. It was truly an amalgamation of creativity, innovation and an exhibition of teamwork where students representing different houses participated with full zeal and enthusiasm in panorama of events.
Freedom House displayed the life of people in Nagaland in a wonderful way. The story line, costumes, dialogue delivery by students was appreciated by all.
Spectrum 2024 not only displayed the inherent talents and diverse abilities of students but also emphasized that winning and participating were equally valuable aspects of any competition, further inspiring them to continue their pursuit of excellence.
The students were applauded by our esteemed Principal ma'am and Respective Judges for their participation and exploring the limitless world of art and culture.
MARTYR'S DAY- MORNING ASSEMBLY

Martyr’s Day is a solemn occasion observed to honor those who sacrificed their lives for the nation.
In India, Martyr’s Day (Shaheed Diwas) is observed on January 30 in memory of Mahatma Gandhi, who was assassinated on this day in 1948. The nation observes a moment of silence at 11:00 AM, and leaders pay tribute at Raj Ghat in Delhi.

Republic Day marks the adoption of India's constitution and the country's transition to a republic on January 26, 1950. Every year, the celebrations marking the day feature spectacular military and cultural pageantry.
The bulletin boards made by the students helps to fill their hearts with the patriotism and also helps to develop their aesthetic sense.

"Childhood is a journey that we cherish forever.
Let’s make it beautiful for every child."
To celebrate the occasion of CHILDREN'S DAY, Enterprise House organised the Folder- making Competition under the theme- "Crafting Creative Folders". Students from each house were supposed to submit creative folders of size 13" X 10" from classes X- XII. They were required to incorporate the artwork such as Mandala, Madhubani or any other creative designs to make their folders unique.
